A team (6 persons) of rope fixing Chinese climbers scaled theMt. Everest yesterday (26th May) at about 2.30pm and they have able to open the climbing route to the topfor 2020 season from the northern side, its from China/Tibet side. About 31 members team comprising climbing members and six surveyors will attempt the peak within few day time.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic around world, Nepal government already suspended the all climbing activities in Nepal, therefore unfortunately we wont be hearing any news about climbing Mt. Everest from Nepal South side. Hopefully there will be a lot happening in 2021 spring season on Mt. Everest from Nepal side.
