Dream Himalaya Adventures is honored to maintain a long-term partnership with Bishops School, Cape Town, offering students, teachers, and parents an unforgettable Himalayan trekking experience. Since 2013, we have successfully organized four Everest Base Camp (EBC) expeditions, each designed to promote adventure, personal growth, and cultural understanding.

Over the years, the trekker group sizes have grown steadily, reflecting the increasing interest and trust from the school community:

2013 – 20 participants
2016 – 22 participants
2020 – 23 participants
2022 – 26 participants

Each of these programs follows our well-established 13-day Lukla–Lukla itinerary, taking the group through the heart of the Khumbu Valley. A significant highlight for Bishops School groups has been the exclusive two-night stay at Everest Base Camp, made possible through our expedition logistics commonly used for Everest climbing teams—an exceptional opportunity not offered in standard trekking packages.

The most recent expedition in 2022, personally led by our Managing Director, Mr. Dawa Sherpa Lama, was completed with 100% success, with every participant safely reaching Everest Base Camp.

We are delighted to confirm the next Bishops School trek scheduled for March–April 2026, with an expected 30-member team. This upcoming journey will once again be led by Mr. Dawa Sherpa Lama, ensuring expert leadership, safety, and a memorable educational adventure.
