Mr. Dawa Sherpa (Lama)

In 1979, born in the foothill of Mt. Kanchenjunga, and 1999, Mr. Dawa for the first time landed in this platform of Travel & Tourism Trade as an accountant and for more than a decade. He earnestly and heartily dedicated his invaluable time to the company where he was working and not only he had benefited the company immensely, but also he has acquired an extensive knowledge on tourism industry.

Dawa has Masters Degree in Business Studies (MBS) from Tribhuban University of Nepal and he has climbed Mt. Amadbalm (6812m) in 2021 and Mt. Everest (8848.86m) in 2022. 

He first started his career as an accountant and later promoted to Sales Managing Officer and then to General Manager. Due to playing the intensive roles in the company, he has a perfect connection with Hotels, Banks, Airlines, Nepal Tourism Board, Nepal Mountaineering Association, Nepal Immigration Office, Chinese Mountaineering Association, Mountaineering Association of India, and so on. As he has been taking the roll of trek guide/leader in the field, therefore he has extensive knowledge about organizing trekking & mountaineering expeditions

With this gigantic experience towards Tourism Trade, Mr. Dawa has eventually brought himself ahead to cater and meet the adventurous dream of individuals and groups, with the world-class services. He is now the founder and Managing Director of Dream Himalaya Adventures Pvt. Ltd., a true expeditions & trekking logistics operator for the Himalayan operations. Mr. Sherpa has travelled many countries i.e. Australia, United Kingdom, Scotland, United State, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Papau New Guinea, India, China etc.

He is one of the young, experienced, well-qualified and educated tourism entrepreneurs in the Sherpa community. Therefore, he is counted as one among the future of Nepal tourism industry.
