Chhong Karma Sherpa

Mr. Karma Sherpa is an introverted guy and hails from the Solu-khumbu region, where some of the legendary climbing sherpas originate from and which is said to be the land of Sherpas.

He has been associated with the tourism industry for more than a decade now, sometimes as a trek guide and very often as a chef.

Life wasn’t quite smooth sometime 15 years back, when Karma for the first time stepped into this platform of outdoor adventures. He was then just entirely new to the mountains and vice versa.

A man spiced with great climbing skills and magic’s in cookery, has climbed to and from to the 2nd camp of Mt. Everest and back to Base Camp few times to keep the climbers well fed, crossing the most technical part of Mt. Everest i.e. Khumbu ice fall. He is now one of our head chef, especially for mountaineering expeditions in Nepal, Tibet and India. From 2016 he has proved himself as a climbing sherpa guide as well summitting Mt. Everest on South side.
