Mr. Phurpasang Sherpa

Phurpasang Sherpa, 24 years old, is from far east Nepal, “Kanchenjunga region”. Mr. Sherpa is also our main guide for smaller peaks and trekking trips. He is a very energetic and young guy who consistently tries to learn something new.

He will be our expedition guide in the future, but he needs more exposure and training. He speaks good English, communicates well with clients, and is very helpful and attentive.

He initially started as a porter and upgraded to assistant guides, and these days guides the minor team. He has extensively trekked to most of Nepal’s popular trekking destinations, including about 10 times to Everest Base Camp and several times to the Annapurna area.

Mr. Sherpa has already climbed most of Nepal’s popular 6000m peaks. He has completed an introductory mountaineering course conducted by the Nepal Mountaineering Association and is looking forward to advanced training and additional alpine courses. He is known as one of the very hard-working, honest, and dedicated staff members and is always liked and highly recommended by the clients.
