Mr. Furi Sherpa

Furi Sherpa, 35 years old, is an intense climber, a high-altitude Sherpa. He has been guiding on small peaks and working for us regularly for the last five years. He first began as a regular porter for trekking trips and also worked as a trekking assistant guide.

To date, he has successfully scaled Mt. Everest 6 times, from both the North and South faces. In 2017, he scaled Mt. Everest twice within 5 days. His client, Ms. Anshu Jamsenpa from India, created a world record, becoming the 1st lady in the world to do so. In addition, he has climbed Mt. Manaslu (8163m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m), and several mountains over 6000m.

His friendly nature, his tough physical and mental fitness, especially at high altitude, his understanding of teamwork, and his extensive experience with mountains and mountaineering have been key ingredients in many of our successful trips.
