Pasang Sherpa

Pasang Sherpa, a 38-year-old man from Gudel village, is a hardworking, honest, and qualified Peak climbing and trekking guide and has been associated with the tourism industry for almost a decade.
He began as a kitchen staff member, gradually became a trek Sherpa and assistant climbing Sherpa, and is now actively involved as an Expedition climbing guide for Dream Himalaya Adventures. Mr. Sherpa is a very experienced trekking guide who has extensively travelled across the Nepalese Himalayas, so he is one of my main guides as well.  

Pasang has climbed about a dozen trekking peaks, including a few 7,000m mountains, Mt. Himung (7,126m) and Mt. Lakpa Ri (7,045m). His first 8,000m summit was on Mt. Lhotse in 2007. He has scaled Mt. Everest twice in 2009 and 2013, plus Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m) in 2009 with an Indian Army team. 

His friendly nature, his tough physical and mental fitness, especially at high altitude, his understanding of teamwork, and his extensive experience with mountains and mountaineering have been key ingredients in many of our successful trips.
