Nirkumar Rai

Nir Kumar Rai (Kanchha) is a dedicated trekking expedition worker from the Solukhumbu District of Nepal. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in the Himalayas, he has worked as a porter, assistant trekking guide, and base camp staff, and is now developing his skills as a base camp cook.

Known on the trail by his famous name “Kanchha,” he has been working with Dream Himalaya Adventures from the very beginning and continues to be a valued team member today. He is appreciated for his helpful nature, cheerful humor, and strong work ethic. His hardworking attitude, reliability, and commitment to supporting trekkers and expedition teams make him a trusted member of any mountain journey.
